Tunnels Beach in Haena is often referred to as one of the most beautiful in the world. After passing 7 one lane bridges you arrive at this little slice of Heaven known as Haena, where a lush tropical jungle opens to white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Known for stunning sunsets, beach combers can enjoy shell collecting and magnificent photo opportunities of Mount Makana and Bali Hai. Another attraction in this remote area is the Maniniholo Dry Cave across from Haena State Park. The beach over by the park and Ke’e Beach at the road’s end are known for unparalleled snorkeling and awe inspiring beauty. At Ke’e Beach, you will find the world famous Kalalau Trail, a must do for those with a thirst for adventure and a bit of endurance.
