Evan Valiere has been surfing throughout the Hawaiian Islands since the age of 3.  Born and raised in Hawaii, Evan started his surfing journey very early as he immediately took to the water and has not stopped searching the world or his backyard for the perfect wave and the experiences that come with it.

As this time, Evan is sponsored by Hurley and competes world wide. His professional athletic career began with Quicksilver at the age of 10. As a team member Evan represented Quicksilver to the best of his ability at contests, autograph signings, and years of ad campaigns where his personal style and impeccable image circulated through media, print, merchandise catalogs, magazines, posters, clothing tags and more. After 10 years, Evan chose to take his career in a different direction. His belief in the Reef company philosophy, vision, team leaders and members allowed him to sign on with a 3 year contract. Furthering his surfing career with additional representation and the chance to explore the world as a Reef team member, Evan was given many of the opportunities he dreamed of. Traveling with the Reef team gave him the exposure and experience he needed to take his career to the next level. For the past 8 years Evan has been surfing around the world scoring ultimate waves and exploring the most secretive sought after surf spots on the planet. In 2011 at the Billabong Pipe Masters on Oahu, Evan came in as a wild card and quickly gained notice as an up and coming star as he advanced all the way to the quarterfinals while receiving the 3rd highest score in the competition.

You can always find Evan on Kauai teaching or sharing his passions with others. Those passions include surfing, the health benefits of qi gong, and traveling around the world, surfing remote places where the waves are powerful and endless. Each year he returns to Oahu during the most powerful season of all, the Winter and the Triple Crown of Surfing.
