Aliomanu is a small local town under the mountain known to all on Kauai as Kong. This mountain has significant historical and cultural significance to those who are blessed to have this stunning view as the backdrop to their homes.

Makai means the ocean. With the pristine calm waters of Aliomanu in front of you, what can be better than a visit to this very private and special home.

The home is centrally located between the north side and east, making for easy access to Kapaa, Kilauea, Princeville and Hanalei. 

Aliomanu Makai is about 20 yards from the pristine waters of the Pacific. This secluded area on Aliomanu Bay is away from most hotels and resorts. The beach behind the house is usually quite private and most of the time feels like your very own. There is room to set up chairs, etc. (which we provide). Swimming is usually quite safe since there is a coral reef protecting the area from dangerous currents. Snorkeling just down the beach in a small cove is excellent during period of calm seas. Turtles can be seen as well as tropical fish and a wide array of corals. People also routinely paddle board and kayak throughout the bay. Night time allows for exploring the shoreline as cowry shells and other nocturnal creatures roam the shallows of the bay. Also, the cruise ship passes by the house approximately 3:30pm every Friday and its lights can be seen as it docks for the night. Sounds heavenly...Right???
